The Indian women’s hockey team is hoping for a historic victory today on the concluding day of the Women’s Asian Champions Trophy in Rajgir.

Under the leadership of captain Salima Tete, the team has consistently shown excellent performance and has made it to the finals. India had defeated China 3-0 in the qualifying match. Till now, the Indian team has defeated Malaysia 4-0, Korea 3-2, Thailand 13-0 and Japan 3-0 and 2-0.

The winning team will be honored in the closing ceremony to be organized in the presence of Union Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya. Several dignitaries, including Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary and Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary, will attend the closing ceremony.
